Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Contract As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-person services for public school students.

This position is a maternity leave coverage for the upcoming school year with the possibility of extension.

Speech-Language Pathologist Position Details:

September 1st through November 25th)

Hours:

8:15am

2:45pm Full-Time or Part-Time (part-time candidates must have between 2-4 days of availability) Mainly working with Pre-K caseload

Speech-Language Pathologist Qualifications:

School Certification in New Jersey Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)

Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities May Include:

Addressing personal, social, emotional, academic, and vocational needs that impact educational goals Providing push-in support in classrooms Performing evaluations and providing appropriate goals for students who require speech/language therapy. Providing continued support for students' Individual Education Programs (IEPs). Maintaining appropriate records and documentation. Developing and implementing IEPs Performing all related work, documentation, and reporting as required.
