Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type All Job Types Step into a dynamic summer setting supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist with two distinct extended school year (ESY) opportunities available. This is an excellent chance to engage with pediatric caseloads while enjoying a flexible schedule and impactful workdays that skip Fridays and do not require a daily commitment. One ESY SLP position focuses on delivering speech therapy services to students during summer programming. Standard hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., though adjustments like a 9:30 a.m. start are possible to match your availability. This assignment runs from June 29 to July 30, with a friendly, collaborative atmosphere and room to personalize your routine. Another opportunity involves supporting the Child Study Team (CST) from July 1 to August 30. Here, you'll provide evaluations and participate in multidisciplinary meetings scheduled flexibly—typically not every day and not on Fridays. Your expertise will help guide vital educational decisions for students during important summer transitions.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP license in New Jersey CCC-SLP credential, SLP-CFY, or eligibility for clinical fellowship welcomed Experience with school-based, healthcare, or pediatric SLP settings is highly valuable Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group speech therapy sessions Complete comprehensive speech-language evaluations as needed Participate in CST meetings, sharing recommendations to support student success Foster growth and progress toward IEP goals within a supportive team environment
