Job Overview The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for providing high-quality outpatient speech-language pathology services for children. The Speech-Language Pathologist will conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and collaborate with families, healthcare providers, schools, and community partners to improve communication, swallowing, cognitive-communication, and overall quality of life. Develop individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and goals. Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve speech clarity, language comprehension, social communication skills, and swallowing functions. Collaborate effectively with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive treatment strategies. Utilize EMR/EHR systems to document assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and patient outcomes accurately. Provide telehealth therapy sessions when appropriate, ensuring seamless service delivery across different settings. Stay informed about current research in physiology and anatomy related to speech and swallowing disorders to enhance treatment efficacy. Qualifications Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working with pediatric populations and early intervention programs is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of speech therapy techniques for individuals with disabilities and speech impairments. Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology related to speech and swallowing functions. Proven ability to perform comprehensive assessments and develop effective treatment plans. Experience working within multidisciplinary teams in settings such as schools or healthcare facilities.
