Role:
NJ STEPS
is a well-established pediatric speech and language therapy practice located in West Caldwell, New Jersey. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing team in either a full-time or part-time capacity. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality, individualized care to children with a wide range of communication, feeding, and developmental needs. Our collaborative and supportive environment allows clinicians to grow professionally while making a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families.
Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine speech and language needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients. Provide therapy sessions to improve communication skills and fluency. Collaborate with families and other professionals to support client progress. Document and track client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech-language pathology. Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development. Qualifications Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology New Jersey SLP License (or eligibility) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Pediatric experience required Experience conducting speech and language evaluations and developing treatment plans Strong communication and parent counseling skills Experience with or strong interest in Gestalt Language Processing (GLP) Experience with or strong interest in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Ability to collaborate with occupational therapists and participate in co-treatment sessions when appropriate Passion for working with children and supporting families What We Offer Competitive salary and compensation package Health insurance benefits (full-time employees) Two weeks paid time off (PTO) Seven paid state holidays Flexible scheduling options Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunities for professional growth and continuing education Diverse caseload including speech, language, AAC, social communication, motor speech, and feeding disorders If you are a motivated pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is passionate about helping children communicate successfully, we would love to hear from you.
