Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type All Job Types Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant elementary environment. This opportunity specializes in serving children in grades K-5, with a manageable caseload of approximately 45 students, all within one supportive campus near West Orange, NJ. The position is open to experienced professionals, including those with their CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status, and offers the option for in-person or teletherapy service delivery. The assignment begins September 14, 2026 (with the possibility of training or preparation a day earlier), running through December 18th. Each workday provides a varied schedule of 8-9 speech-language sessions, where your expertise can create lasting impact for young learners.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist ASHA CCC or candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year welcome Experience with pediatric and/or school-aged populations Competency in teletherapy platforms is a plus Strong communication and documentation skills Collaborative spirit and enthusiasm for student growth
