Our center is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare services in a supportive and collaborative environment. We are looking for a motivated professional who is passionate about helping children improve their communication, language, speech, and developmental skills. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients Develop individualized therapy and treatment plans Provide speech and language therapy sessions for children with developmental, neurological, behavioral, and communication challenges Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, educators, and families to support patient development Educate parents and caregivers regarding treatment goals and home exercises Maintain compliance with healthcare and documentation standards Qualifications Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active New York State Speech-Language Pathologist License required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience working with pediatric patients preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary healthcare team Position Details Full-time or part-time opportunities available Flexible scheduling Supportive clinical environment Modern multispecialty medical facility Competitive compensation Join AFFA Diagnostic & Treatment Medical Center and help improve the lives of children and families through compassionate, high-quality speech and language care.

NYS Speech-Language Pathologist License (Required) Provide engaging speech therapy sessions for pediatric patients, emphasizing early intervention strategies Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent patient care Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and session notes Educate families on speech development milestones and therapeutic techniques for home practice Stay current with the latest research in speech therapy, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to enhance patient care Skills Proven experience working with children in school or clinical settings, especially in pediatrics and early intervention Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques and patient assessment methods Familiarity with physiology and anatomy relevant to speech production and swallowing functions Ability to communicate complex medical terminology clearly to families and team members Passion for patient care with a compassionate approach tailored to young children's needs Excellent collaboration skills for working effectively within multidisciplinary teams Commitment to ongoing professional development in areas such as speech therapy advancements and pediatric care
