School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Albuquerque, New Mexico Soliant - 3.9 Albuquerque, NM Job Details Full-time | Contract 1 day ago Qualifications Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist who thrives in a dynamic school setting. This full-time, contract position provides the chance to make a profound impact on young learners, working with children ages 18 months to 6 years. Enjoy a rewarding role with a manageable caseload of approximately 40 students, supporting their communication development throughout the academic year. This assignment begins August 3, 2026, and concludes June 4, 2027, offering consistent, weekday hours (40 hours per week) and the satisfaction of helping children gain vital skills for classroom and social success.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active or pending SLP license for the state (NM) Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible Clinical Fellow (CFY) Previous experience in a school setting or working with young children (18 months-6 years) preferred Strong communication and organization skills Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and fellow professionals
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and deliver therapy to children ages 18 months to 6 years Manage a caseload of approximately 40 students, documenting progress and maintaining compliance Consult with educators and families regarding strategies to support students' speech and language development Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal setting Foster an inclusive, supportive environment that nurtures student growth and confidence This contract role offers a fulfilling experience for those who are passionate about early intervention and making a difference in school communities.
