Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from PreK through 12th grade as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This position, located near Bosque Farms, NM, is perfect for professionals passionate about helping students achieve their full potential through effective communication. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Valid state SLP license, or eligibility to obtain prior to start ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Previous experience working in school settings is a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to creating supportive, inclusive learning environments
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for PreK-12 students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, staff, and families Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support broader educational goals Offer consultation and resources to educators and parents to foster communication development
