Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Ignite your career as a speech-language pathologist with an impactful contract assignment serving students in a supportive educational setting. This opportunity allows you to make a real difference by helping children and adolescents achieve their communication goals. As a skilled SLP holding your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), you'll assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse caseload of students with varying speech, language, and communication disorders. Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and staff to support each student's unique needs, and contribute to an environment where everyone is empowered to reach their full potential.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program Valid SLP-CCC credential State licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure Previous experience in a school setting preferred Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environmentKey Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and interpret assessment results for students with suspected speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students, in both individual and group settings Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and regulatory guidelines Engage with parents/guardians and educational staff through regular communication and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on speech-language development Meaningful work awaits you in a dynamic, team-oriented atmosphere.
