Category Schools - SLP - Telespeech Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in school-based teletherapy services in Hobbs, NM. This role focuses on delivering remote speech and language support to K-12 students, utilizing telehealth methods to effectively address communication disorders within an educational environment.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations using teletherapy platforms. Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs. Providing direct teletherapy interventions to improve speech, language, and communication skills. Collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to monitor progress and adjust therapy goals. Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with school and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience delivering teletherapy services, preferably in school settings. Proficient with telecommunication technologies and digital therapy tools. Strong understanding of child development and common speech-language disorders. Excellent communication and organizational skills. This contract position offers the opportunity to apply specialized skills in a dynamic remote setting, supporting students' educational success through innovative telepractice methods.
