Your Role:

Making a Meaningful Difference As a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist with Esperanza Children's Therapy , you will help children strengthen the communication skills they need to thrive at home, at school, and in their communities. You will assess, diagnose, and treat pediatric speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders while partnering with families to develop practical strategies that support each child's progress.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and assess children to identify communication needs, diagnoses, and appropriate treatment goals. Develop individualized, evidence-based Plans of Care based on each child's unique strengths and needs. Provide direct, face-to-face pediatric speech and language therapy in our clinic setting. Treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders . Educate and coach parents and caregivers on strategies they can use to support their child's communication and development. Monitor treatment effectiveness and communicate progress, recommendations, and next steps with families. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated, child- and family-centered care. Complete accurate, high-quality clinical documentation and meet billing requirements using WebPT . What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

Education:

Graduate degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Licensure:

Current New Mexico Speech-Language Pathologist License .

Certification:

CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required.

Experience:

Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology experience preferred.

Language Skills:

Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Clinical Skills:

Ability to assess children's needs, apply critical thinking, and adjust treatment plans based on progress and clinical findings.
