Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Blazer Jobs is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a school-based setting near Moriarty, NM for the 2026-27 school year . This is an excellent opportunity to work with a collaborative special education team while making a meaningful impact on student communication and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active New Mexico SLP license or ability to obtain ASHA CCCs preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply Previous school-based experience preferred Why Moriarty?
