Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from PreK through 12th grade for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time role offers a chance to work collaboratively with educators and families to make a positive impact on young learners' communication skills. You'll provide speech-language services tailored to students' diverse needs, contributing to a vibrant educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (CFY or CCC considered). Experience, coursework, or clinical rotation in school-based settings strongly preferred. Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills for work with students, parents, and school staff. Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and goal setting. Commitment to supporting students across multiple grade levels and abilities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to students in PreK-12. Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals. Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and required documentation. Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to optimize student success. Provide therapy in both individual and group settings as appropriate. This contract position offers the stability of a consistent 40-hour work week over the school year, extending from August 3, 2026 to May 28, 2027.
