This full-time, on-site opportunity spans multiple school sites in the vibrant Portales, NM area, with consistent hours and a dynamic, itinerant caseload. Qualifications & Experience Sought:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Active New Mexico SLP license required Experience delivering SLP services in school settings preferred Flexibility to serve a range of ages and needs as populations will be determined prior to assignment Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability and willingness to travel between multiple school sites

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with educational teams and families Provide direct therapy across an itinerant caseload and adapt intervention strategies to students diverse needs Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings Educate staff and caregivers about student supports, strategies, and progress Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in school-based speech-language pathology
