Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity working with students in an educational setting as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This contract role offers the chance to make meaningful impacts across multiple sites, supporting learners as they develop essential communication skills throughout the school year.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to diverse student populations (ages and specific populations will be determined) Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement appropriate interventions Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student goals Maintain thorough documentation and meet compliance standards Serve as an itinerant SLP, delivering support across various school locations as assigned Participate in student support meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams

Desired Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Valid New Mexico SLP license required prior to start Experience in school-based settings or working with children/adolescents preferred Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Comfort with collaborating on multidisciplinary teams Ability to effectively manage a full-time caseload and travel to multiple sites as needed
