Minimum Requirements Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program. Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Active New Mexico SLP state license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. Experience evaluating and treating dysphagia and communication disorders in geriatric populations preferred. Comfort with documentation systems used in SNF settings preferred.
