Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in students' lives by providing comprehensive speech and language services in a dynamic school environment. This full-time contract opportunity offers a unique four-day work week (Monday through Thursday, 8AM-4PM), allowing you the chance to maximize your impact while enjoying an extended weekend. You'll serve a diverse caseload across an entire school district, working with students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade. With flexibility built into the schedule and the opportunity to work in a variety of school settings—both in-person and via teletherapy—you'll find plenty of variety and professional enrichment in your day-to-day routine.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license issued by the State of New Mexico Demonstrated experience working with school-aged children in academic settings Comfortable providing district-wide services, including site-to-site travel as needed Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery models preferred Strong collaboration, documentation, and communication skills

Essential Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and implement treatment for students with speech, language, and communication disorders across PreK-12 grade levels Deliver services both in-person and via teletherapy, depending on specific student needs and district guidelines Work closely with educators, support staff, and families to support students' IEP goals Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for students This role is ideal for skilled SLPs seeking meaningful work in an engaging school environment with the benefit of a condensed four-day work schedule.
