This contract position is open to experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP, SLP-CCC) ready to work across multiple educational sites in the area. With a full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week), youll collaborate closely with school teams as an itinerant SLP, adapting to diverse student populations and ages as assigned. Preferred candidates are motivated, adaptable, and equipped to manage flexible caseloads, providing exceptional speech and language services on-site. This assignment has an immediate start and runs through May 2027, offering you the chance to make a lasting impact.

Key Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid NM SLP license (required) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Previous school-based SLP experience is strongly preferred Comfort working at multiple school locations (itinerant assignment) Strong communication, organization, and teamwork abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct therapy and assessment for students speech and language needs Develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and document progress Collaborate with teaching staff, families, and other specialists Travel to assigned sites according to caseload requirements Participate in IEP meetings and school support activities Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state standards
