e2036-87547 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 20262027 school year, providing dedicated speech-language support to students in grades K12. This full-time position serves a diverse caseloadranging from moderate to profound needsand offers flexibility based on your experience and preferences. The role focuses on pediatric populations, working primarily with early childhood and elementary-aged students within a supportive educational setting. Both local and travel professionals are encouraged to apply and make a difference in students communication development.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP licensure (or eligibility) in New Mexico Familiarity with pediatric speech and language disorders, especially in school-based settings Previous experience working with early childhood or K12 students preferred Comfort with adapting caseloads and collaborating with multi-disciplinary education teams Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and design individualized treatment plans for students Deliver direct therapy services to meet speech, language, and communication goals Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to support student progress Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals Adapt therapy approaches to match the needs of diverse student populations
