Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers the opportunity to provide specialized services within a school setting in Ely, NV. The caseload primarily consists of high school students, with additional support needed for middle and upper elementary levels. This role requires a licensed SLP with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, ideally within educational environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across high school, middle, and upper elementary grades Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' communication needs Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to optimize student progress Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state regulations Provide consultative support to classroom teachers regarding speech and language accommodations
Qualifications:
Valid SLP license with CCC certification Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology interventions appropriate for adolescents and children Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 42 students effectively Open to candidates willing to travel to Ely, NV for this contract position
