  • 200 per visit Marquis Certified Home Care is currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Speech Therapist to join our dynamic home care team.
As a Home Care Pediatric Speech Therapist, you will play a vital role in improving the lives of children by providing specialized physical therapy services in the comfort of their homes. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the well-being and development of pediatric patients.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients to identify speech therapy needs and develop personalized treatment plans Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care. Educate and involve parents/caregivers in the therapeutic process, providing guidance on home exercises and activities. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals. Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop integrated care plans.
Qualifications:
Current and valid Speech Therapy license in the state of New York. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pediatric Speech Therapist. School based experience is a plus Strong knowledge of pediatric developmental milestones and conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy.
