Job Description
Full Time & Part Time (15hrs) Available The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

- Speech Teacher Qualifications & Skills
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- State licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Previous experience working in an educational setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using speech therapy software and tools.
- Experience with creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs). Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and treatments.
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Education, or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification or licensure as required by the state.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Collaborative skills to work effectively with other educators and professionals.
- Proficiency in assessment and diagnostic tools for speech and language disorders.
Minimum Requirements:
- + Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required + Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
