Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 school in Baldwinsville, NY. This contract position runs from September to June and primarily serves elementary students, with some high school students included. The role focuses on supporting students' speech and language development through assessment, therapy, and collaboration with educators and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized therapy plans Deliver direct therapy services tailored to student needs Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement necessary accommodations and modifications Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting Provide guidance and support to parents and caregivers
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one Experience working with school-aged children preferred Strong communication skills and collaborative approach Knowledge of IEP processes and relevant educational laws
