Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in students' lives by providing speech-language therapy in a supportive educational environment. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to help students across multiple grade levels, working alongside dedicated educators near Binghamton, NY. Start dates align with the upcoming 2026-2027 school year, providing ample time for preparation and transition. Both onsite and, potentially, virtual providers are being considered as the school year approaches.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for New York State Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable Strong communication and collaborative skills Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and student needs Commitment to fostering student growth and success
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech-language assessments and reassessments as needed Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver evidence-based therapy to students with a variety of speech and language needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings Adapt services based on evolving caseload details This role will provide an enriching career experience, allowing you to cultivate your professional skills while truly impacting the students you serve.
