Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students for the 2026-2027 school year! Make a difference as a Speech-Language Pathologist working onsite with a diverse K-12 population (predominantly K-8) from September 2, 2026, through June 25, 2027. You'll empower approximately 40 students, including a small group of high schoolers, in a collaborative educational environment located near Cherry Valley, NY. This full-time position follows a Monday through Friday, 7:40 am - 3:05 pm schedule, allowing consistent engagement and routine. Ideal candidates possess a passion for pediatric and school-based SLP practice and are comfortable working independently and with multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Valid state SLP license or eligibility upon start date ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) considered Experience in K-12 or pediatric settings, with a focus on individualized, student-centered therapy Exceptional skill in building rapport with children and adolescents of varying abilities Strong organization and documentation abilities
Role Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments, therapy, and interventions for students in K-12 (mostly K-8) Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to develop and implement IEP goals Maintain timely and accurate clinical records and documentation Participate in IEP meetings and student support planning Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that nurtures communication growth This is your chance to inspire and nurture young learners, guiding them to reach their communication goals in a supportive and professional school environment.
