Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 academic year, serving students in grades K-12 in the Ithaca, NY area. This contract position focuses on providing essential speech and language support to help students achieve their communication goals within the school setting. Responsibilities include managing a caseload of approximately 35 students, conducting thorough assessments, and developing individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's unique needs. You will deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions, collaborate closely with teachers and school staff to implement accommodations, and actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. Additionally, monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy approaches are key to ensuring effective interventions. Providing guidance and resources to families is also an important component of this role.
Qualifications sought:
