Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in the Elmira, NY area for the current school year. This contract position supports students primarily in PreK and elementary settings from ASAP through late June (6/25-26). The role is located in nearby Hornell and Bath, NY, providing services within school environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to PreK and elementary students. Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication needs. Maintain documentation and comply with district and state regulations.
Qualifications:
Active NYS license in Speech-Language Pathology. Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC). Certificate of Clinical Competence or eligibility for TSSLD credential. Experience working with students in school-based settings preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills.
Location:
Elmira, NY area with services in Hornell and Bath, NY.
