Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Travel A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available for the current school year, with an immediate start through June 2026. This travel position serves schools located in the Hornell and Bath, NY areas. The ideal candidate will hold an active New York State SLP license along with a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification. Experience working with PreK and elementary-aged students is essential for success in this role. Candidates should also have completed their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders in students Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student assessments Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student communication goals Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies This position offers the unique opportunity to work in a dynamic school environment, traveling between multiple locations in the Elmira, NY area. This flexibility allows SLPs to broaden their clinical experience and impact a range of students across different school settings.
