Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity this summer, supporting students K-12 as a Speech Language Pathologist for an Extended School Year (ESY) program from July 6 through August 14. Each day runs from 8:15 am to 2:15 pm, providing an ideal balance between your professional growth and personal life during these vibrant summer months. Skills and experience in school-based speech-language pathology, pediatric settings, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or healthcare SLP are highly encouraged, as you'll work hands-on with a diverse student population, helping them communicate more effectively and thrive in their educational journey.
Qualifications & Desired Background:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist CCC-SLP or CFY considered Experience with K-12 students in schools or pediatric healthcare settings Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with teachers, staff, and parents Commitment to fostering an inclusive, encouraging environment
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to students, tailoring interventions to their unique learning goals Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with the student support team Conduct evaluations, screenings, and progress assessments Maintain thorough documentation and accurate records as required Participate in meetings and consult with educators and families to support student success Imagine making a visible impact while enjoying a supportive, professional environment.
