Job Description

Make a positive impact working with students in a dynamic educational environment near Ithaca, NY! This rewarding contract role is perfect for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who thrives on making connections and helping children develop vital communication skills. Work closely with staff, students, and families while supporting a pediatric caseload, delivering services that foster academic and personal growth.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state license (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred Experience or coursework in pediatric speech and language disorders Commitment to improving student outcomes and building rapport with children Strong organizational, documentation, and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and create treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders Provide direct therapy services individually and in small groups according to IEPs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students academic and social-emotional development Maintain clear and timely documentation on student progress Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to program planning Adapt and modify interventions to meet individual student needs
