Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving students in grades K-12 in Ithaca, NY. This role is ideal for licensed professionals holding NY SLP credentials, including candidates who are SLP-CFY, SLP-CCC, or have School SLP certification. The position will begin in April and continue through June 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group speech-language therapy sessions Manage a caseload of approximately 30 K-12 students Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to student needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to promote student progress Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school regulations
Qualifications:
Valid NY State Speech-Language Pathologist licensure required Experience working in school settings strongly preferred Ability to engage with a diverse student population across a wide age range Strong communication and organizational skills
