Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference this summer by utilizing your expertise as a School-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time contract role is designed for the summer months, with the strong possibility of continuing into the new school year. Work near Johnson City, NY, and benefit from the support of an onsite facilitator who will assist as your onsite hands, allowing you to focus on assessment, therapy, and collaborating with students and staff.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP Experience or strong interest in working in a school setting Ability to develop and implement IEPs and communicate effectively with students, families, and educational teams Strong organization and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, diagnose communication and speech disorders, and craft individualized treatment plans Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions to students in an educational environment Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress and generalize skills into the classroom Monitor student outcomes, update progress, and modify interventions as needed Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for supports and accommodations Utilize the support of an onsite facilitator to streamline service delivery If you're ready for a rewarding summer assignment, with the potential to extend into the school year, this position offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your professional skills and become a valued contributor to student success.
