A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

We are seeking a Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a K-8 school-based position in Marcellus, NY for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a W-2 school-based role with a consistent weekly schedule and competitive hourly pay ranging from $50-65 an hour based on experience. This position is ideal for an SLP looking for a structured part-time caseload with a predictable daily schedule in a supportive school environment. SLP CFs are also considered for this role.

11:30 AM - 2:30 PM daily 4 days per week Approximately 21 sessions per week K-8 student population In this role, you will: Provide speech and language therapy services to K-8 students Support IEP goals and documentation Collaborate with teachers and special education staff Track progress and participate in team meetings as needed

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active NY SLP license (or eligibility to obtain) School-based experience preferred IEP experience preferred CCC-SLP and SLP Clinical Fellows This is a great opportunity for an SLP seeking a part-time school schedule with meaningful impact in a K-8 setting.
