Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Mastic Beach, NY 11951
Job Summary:
Homeside Rehab is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our pediatric home health team in Massachusetts . In this role, you will provide individualized, evidence-based speech therapy services to patients in their homes while enjoying schedule flexibility and a supportive team environment.
Requirements:
Active NY State Speech-Language Pathologist License — required Minimum 1 year of experience in Home Health, Outpatient, or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings preferred Basic computer literacy for documentation and communication Strong clinical and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work independently in a home health environment Reliable transportation for home visits preferred
Job Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals Provide evidence-based treatment for speech, language, fluency, articulation, and voice disorders Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure coordinated and effective treatment Communicate effectively with office staff, patients, and caregivers Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including speech therapy assistants, nurses, and physicians, to ensure comprehensive care
