Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in students' lives by providing speech-language services in a collaborative and supportive educational environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who are passionate about helping students reach their communication goals. The assignment is based near Owego, NY, for the full 2026-2027 school year, with two to three openings currently available. While onsite services are preferred, virtual positions may be considered as the start date approaches.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Licensed (or eligible) as an SLP in New York Experience in school-based settings preferred Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills Comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs Conduct initial assessments, progress monitoring, and re-evaluations Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student development Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based student planning Adapt to onsite or virtual service delivery as needed This position offers: Full-time schedule following the academic calendar (September 2026-June 2027) Opportunity to work with a diverse student population and experienced colleagues Professional environment dedicated to student success If you are a committed SLP ready to advance your career in a rewarding school-based role, we encourage you to apply today.
