About the
Role:
As a Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at River Valley, you will play a vital role in evaluating and treating residents with communication and swallowing disorders.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Evaluating residents and developing a treatment plan that meets their unique needs Selecting activities to help residents carry out their daily living tasks independently Assessing resident progress and preparing detailed reports Rehabilitating residents with disabilities resulting from injury, illness, or other factors Maintaining a safe and clean work environment Documenting resident care services and maintaining department records Collaborating with healthcare teams to contribute to a cohesive and effective care approach
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy Program Current New York State License Experience is a plus, but not required
