Speech Language Pathologist

What will I do as a Speech Language Pathologist for The Wesley Community? Our Speech and Language Pathologists work closely with in our in-patient long term care residents and short term rehab patients to restore activities of daily living. A few of the most common duties and responsibilities required of Speech Language Pathologists include: Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual client needs. Provide counseling and support to clients and their families. Collaborate with other professionals to develop treatment plans. Keep detailed records of client progress. Maintain a safe environment for clients. Provide education and training to clients and their families.

Speech Language Pathologist Requirements :

Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology Program Current New York State SLP License Experience in Subacute and/or Long-Term care a plus, but not required The Wesley Community strives to have its employees be a part of a culture of excellence and to enjoy their work.
