Schenectady, New York Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students at an elementary school in Schenectady, New York for the 20262027 school year. This position offers a consistent MondayFriday schedule of 7:45 AM2:45 PM with a caseload of approximately 4050 students . The SLP will collaborate with school staff and families to support students' communication and academic development. Responsibilities Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary students based on individual needs and IEP goals Conduct assessments and participate in evaluations as appropriate Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Monitor and document student progress Maintain accurate therapy documentation and service records Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, families, and related service providers Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning Support students' communication, language, and academic participation Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and multidisciplinary teams Strong organization and time-management skills Ability to adapt therapy strategies to meet individual student needs Comfortable working with elementary-aged students Qualifications New York SLP License TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) Ability to provide school-based speech-language services Experience School-based experience is preferred but not required Elementary school experience is a plus Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
