SPEECH PATHOLOGIST
Qualifications:
Must have a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, an Ohio Department of Education Professional License and a License from the Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board. Experience and proficiency with computer applications including software to create special education documentation and student information databases such as DASL. Experience with keeping compliant therapy notes and submitting billing for the Ohio School Medicaid Program. Experience conducting and authoring reports for multi-factored evaluations and speech and language evaluations as well as individual educational plans in accordance with IDEA Guidelines. Experience screening, providing intervention to and conducting therapy with pre-school and school age students. Demonstrate positive and effective collaboration and communication skills to interact with parents, students and staff members. Must have a clean and current BCI/FBI background check.
