Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will make a meaningful difference in the lives of students across grades K-12. This contract position offers a positive, collaborative school environment near the Columbus, OH area, serving a diverse caseload of 38 students. You'll play a vital role in supporting communication skills and academic success, working up to 30 hours per week with a total of 7,160 service minutes per quarter.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) credential required Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation Proficiency in delivering healthcare-related SLP services within an academic setting Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills
Daily Responsibilities:
Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students in grades K-12, both individually and in groups Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine speech, language, and communication needs Develop, monitor, and document individualized treatment plans and IEPs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to support student progress Participate in team meetings, eligibility meetings, and ongoing professional development Maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with district and legal requirements
