This contract opportunity is ideal for passionate speech-language pathologists who enjoy working with pediatric populations and are eager to support students communication and learning success. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current, active state speech-language pathology license or eligibility for licensure Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in early childhood or elementary settings, is strongly preferred Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and school-based therapy models Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Comfortable managing diverse caseloads and adapting therapy to varying student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for students in grades K12 Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary support teams Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions targeting speech, language, and communication goals Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings Provide education and strategies to classroom staff and families to reinforce student progress
