Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students' communication growth in a vibrant educational environment near Hilliard, OH. In this role, you'll use your expert speech-language pathology skills to make a daily impact in the lives of students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Your services will reach a diverse caseload of 38 students, ensuring individualized attention and progress toward each student's unique speech and language goals. With a maximum of 30 hours per week and specific service targets (7,160 minutes per quarter), you'll enjoy both meaningful work and manageable scheduling.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Experience working within pediatric, healthcare, or school settings Comfortable serving school-aged children and adolescents (grades K-12) Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Ability to adapt therapy approaches to a range of developmental and educational needs
Primary Duties:
Deliver direct speech-language services to a caseload of 38 students across K-12, in individual and group settings Develop, implement, and track individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams and families Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and maintain meticulous records to document student progress Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to student planning Provide consultative support and resources for teachers and staff to support communication needs in the classroom Fulfill service delivery targets: 7,160 total minutes per quarter This position offers the opportunity to shape young learners' abilities and confidence, all while maintaining a consistent and flexible contract schedule.
