About Our Clinic Services With over 30 years of pediatric therapy experience, LLA Therapy's motto is: Helping Kids Shine Their Brightest! In order to accomplish our goal we pride ourselves on effective and streamlined communication, ongoing mentoring and support, collaboration between our core therapeutic disciplines (assistive tech, intervention specialists, OT, ABA, and PT), and providing our professionals with the materials and tools they need to succeed. Essential Accountabilities for the Speech-Language Pathologist Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations on assigned patients. Design individualized treatment plans and materials to match the patient's unique learning profile. Provide therapy according to the treatment plan while monitoring progress and adjusting therapy. Document, monitor, and analyze the patient's progress and effects of treatment. Communicate, educate, and provide family training on the patient's individualized treatment plans. Consult and collaborate with family and other staff or supports (i.e., physician, school district, other therapies). Create and submit all reporting, including appropriate recommendations ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Requirements Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Speech Language Pathology. Current licensure to practice Speech Language Therapy within the state of Ohio Valid Driver's license. Must be proficient in English; reading, comprehending and understanding the English language. Completed FBI and BCI background check (can be completed upon hire) Professional Liability Insurance, recommended by governing body. Positive and goal oriented, willing to accept the challenge of new assignments and be able to work well with others. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on teamwork, customer service, and safe working practices. Must be able to handle stressful situations.
