Key Qualifications:

Active Ohio licensure as an SLP-CCC is mandatory Prior experience working with school-aged children, preferably at the junior high level Familiarity with state and district requirements regarding speech-language services Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other educators and families

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students' speech and language needs Design and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams Deliver targeted speech-language therapy to junior high students, adjusting methods to suit individual learning styles Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, treatment plans, and communications with parents and staff Provide guidance, resources, and support to teachers and staff regarding communication strategies within the classroom setting Participate in IEP meetings, professional development opportunities, and other school functions as required
