Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where your expertise in speech-language pathology positively impacts students' communication and academic journeys. Bring your passion and skillset as an SLP (CCC required) to a supportive school environment located near Salem, OH, beginning August 24 and continuing through June 6. This dynamic role offers a balanced, flexible schedule: four in-person days on site with students and a fifth hybrid day, allowing adaptability to fit your routine. Scheduling for your hybrid day offers some flexibility, making it easier to meet professional and personal commitments.

Key Qualifications:

Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) State licensure (or eligibility) as required for Ohio schools Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Previous experience with school-aged students preferred, but not required Ability to adapt across multiple school settings and flexible caseloads

What You'll Do:

Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to students as designated by IEPs and building needs Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to help students meet their speech and language goals Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting for all students served Adjust services and strategies to meet the diverse communication needs within the district Engage in professional development and stay current with best practices in school-based speech-language pathology Enjoy the chance to shape your own hybrid day, interact with a variety of age groups, and contribute meaningfully while building professional skills.
