Preferred Experience and Skills:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current or pending state licensure as an SLP Prior experience in a pediatric, early childhood, or elementary school setting desirable Strong knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring Skilled in providing both direct and consultative services Compassion for students with a range of communication and learning needs Excellent communication, time management, and documentation abilities
Role Highlights and Responsibilities:
Deliver assessments, therapy, and intervention for students in grades K12 Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Engage with families and staff to support students progress and generalization of skills Document evaluation results, therapy sessions, and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines Adapt therapy materials and treatment methods for diverse student needs Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
