Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity making a difference for students across K-12 levels. This contract role begins in August and runs through May, focusing on group-based speech-language therapy services in an engaging and supportive educational environment. You'll collaborate with a welcoming network of fellow SLPs periodically, giving you access to shared resources and professional insight while maintaining autonomy in your day-to-day practice. This assignment involves traveling between districts, allowing you to broaden your impact and experience working with a diverse student population with a variety of needs. Travel mileage is covered, ensuring you can focus on what's most important: delivering meaningful therapy to students. The position is structured for 36-37 hours per week, providing the stability of a full-time role within the flexibility of a contract.
Desired Credentials & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Oklahoma Relevant experience in school settings, especially delivering group therapy Strong communication and organizational skills Comfort traveling between multiple school sites
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct group speech-language therapy sessions for K-12 students Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to varying levels of need Collaborate with other SLPs as needed to ensure consistent, high-quality services Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as required Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding communication development This position offers you the chance to make meaningful connections with students and partner with educators passionate about student success.
