Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) supporting students in an on-site school setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about shaping young lives through speech and language support and ready to work closely with a dedicated team. You'll work with a manageable caseload of 51 students, collaborating alongside three speech paraprofessionals and one paperwork para.
Key Qualifications:
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required Experience with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred Comfortable working on-site; teletherapy is not available for this position Familiarity with healthcare standards and best practices for school-based SLPs Ability to oversee, communicate, and collaborate with paraprofessional staff Recent CFs may apply if working under an approved external supervisor
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs Assess, diagnose, and document speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Adapt interventions to each student's needs, collaborating with other educators and support personnel Develop and maintain accurate, comprehensive documentation for compliance and progress monitoring Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed Support, guide, and offer professional insight to paraprofessional team members
