Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility State licensure (or eligibility) for speech-language pathology Previous experience in school or pediatric settings is highly desirable Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and best practices in school-based therapy Excellent communication skills with students, families, and school staff Proficient in conducting assessments, evaluations, and therapy planning Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and foster a positive environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy for students as outlined in their IEPs Assess, diagnose, and document communication disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions Educate staff and families on communication strategies that support student success Working in this coastal community, you'll experience supportive leadership, opportunities for professional growth, and meaningful connections with students and families.
