Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills across elementary, middle, and high school settings! This contract opportunity is perfect for a collaborative and energetic Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about supporting learners in an engaging, school-based environment.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certification in Speech-Language Pathology. Prior experience working with school-aged children is highly preferred. Comfortable adapting to both elementary, middle, and high school environments. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Proven ability to assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for diverse student populations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication abilities. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), tailoring interventions to meet diverse student needs. Deliver therapy sessions individually and in small groups to foster language development, articulation, fluency, and social communication. Collaborate with teachers, counselors, parents, and other specialists to ensure coordinated student support. Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings to review student progress and update goals. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
